Lexi Thompson captivated audiences with a breathtaking eagle, her second of the day, concluding Thursday’s round in dramatic fashion at Palos Verdes. However, Friday’s play painted a different picture.

Despite her earlier brilliance, Thompson encountered a rollercoaster of emotions during the second round, posting a 78 with six bogeys, a double bogey, and just one birdie. Struggling to find her groove, she managed only 10 fairways and greens each, battling through 33 putts. This marked her second LPGA appearance this season, following two LET events where she secured an impressive 11th-place finish in Florida just two weeks ago.

The journey continued with Thompson finishing the Seri Pak event at 7 over, leaving fans eagerly anticipating the twists and turns of her next golfing adventure. Stay tuned for more thrilling updates from one of golf’s most dynamic players!
