Why Scottie Scheffler Ditched the Olympic Village for a Secret Hideaway Two Hours from Paris!

After a 2024 season where Scottie Scheffler saw it all, he is now headed to Paris! He will represent USA men’s golf at the 2024 Olympics with Xander Schauffele, Wyndham Clark, and Collin Morikawa. “Playing for your country is always extremely exciting and it will be pretty surreal doing it on the Olympic stage,” he said. His last appearance was at the Royal Troon, teeing off for the final major on the men’s circuit.

Scottie Scheffler will be staying 2 hours away from the venue with family

Scottie Scheffler does not want to risk his game after taking up his national duties. To be in the best form, he decided against staying at the Olympic Village and opted for a resort with Meredith Scheffler and baby Bennett two hours away from Paris. His whereabouts were revealed by former Chelsea player John Terry, who posted a picture of them posing in the Les Bordes area, which has two golf courses. Scheffler will be playing for the first time at the Le Golf National, and that is all the more reason for him to keep himself away from the crowd.

His only solace at the moment is the family time he will get to spend and, of course, his golf practices in the city of love. This is why, despite families being allowed to stay with the players at the Olympic Village, the Schefflers will not be opting for it.

Although the No. 1 golfer in the world started with a great start during the inception of the season, he has not been having quite a great run since his arrest at the PGA Championship. The trip to Paris might indeed be a nice break for him, and who knows Scheffler might bounce back to his contention period at the Olympics.

With such varied performances this season, what will be his fate in Paris? Stay tuned to find out!
