PGA Tour star Sam Burns mimics iconic Lion King scene with Scottie Scheffler’s son Bennett while world No. 1 tees off at FedEx Championship
Sam Burns made sure that Scottie Scheffler’s three-month-old son — Bennett — got a glimpse of his father in action at the FedEx Championship, showing him off on cam’.
Footage of the moment went viral on social media after Scheffler’s tee-off time on Saturday, as Burns and Bennett lurked in the background while golf’s No. 1 was focusing on the green at TPC Southwind in Memphis, Tennessee.
At one point, Burns even lifts his close friend’s baby as Rafiki does to Simba in The Lion King before chuckling on the tournament’s broadcast from afar.
‘Lol this is awesome,’ a fan reacted on X.
‘What’s up with the swoosh on the back of the polo? Looks so dumb,’ another person said, shifting the focus onto Scheffler’s turquoise Nike polo.
