As Lexi Thompson approaches her 30th birthday next year, her priorities are shifting. The LPGA star, who plans to retire at the end of 2024, recently hinted that her future might include starting a family. “I’ll be 30 next year, so settle down, get married, have a family,” she shared in a recent interview.

However, while playing competitively might be off the table, Thompson isn’t ready to fully step away from the sport she loves. When asked about her post-retirement plans, she expressed interest in remaining involved with the Solheim Cup team, potentially in a captaincy role. “I’d love to be still a part of it in any way,” she said, adding that she’s eager to learn from captains and assistants.

For now, Thompson remains focused on her final season, with upcoming appearances in Cincinnati, Arkansas, and Florida. What comes after that? Thompson is taking it day by day, prioritizing both herself and her future off the course.

As fans, we can only hope for the best in whatever Lexi’s next chapter holds—whether it’s as a mother, a captain, or a golf legend forever tied to the game.
