Shocking Joe Biden Move Sends Golf Fans Into Frenzy Over Ignored $1M Donald Trump Face-Off

Joe Biden pulled out of the Presidential race in a surprising announcement on Sunday. Effectively that means, Donald Trump’s call for a golf match with Biden will go unanswered. And, also there is no final solution to the handicap debate that gripped the Golf community a month back.

The current president and the former POTUS sparred over their golf handicap on the first Presidential debate on June 27. It all started when Trump invoked his on-course achievements – two trophies – to bolster his suitability for the office. Trump also took a jab on Biden’s swing claiming he couldn’t move the ball 50 yards.

That quickly spiraled into a spicy back-and-forth between the two. Biden claimed to have improved his handicap to 6 when he was the vice president. The golf debate refused to die down as Trump once again called for a match against the sitting president a few weeks after the prime-time jousting.

Trump even said he would give Biden a 20-shot advantage. On top of it, if Biden won, Trump was ready to give $1M to any charity of Biden’s choice. But of course, none of that is realistic now that Biden has withdrawn from the race. The golf community on social media can only think of the possibilities now. They also seemed to have arrived at a verdict on what the outcome of the match would be.

Fans don’t think Joe Biden had a chance against Donald Trump

In retrospect, the match was never going to happen. Joe Biden, in a strongly worded statement, rejected the proposal dubbing it as Trump’s ‘weird antics.’ Furthermore, at the NATO summit, the 46th POTUS blasted the 78-year-old. “My schedule has been full bore. Where has Trump been? Riding out his golf cart, filling out his scorecard before he hits the ball, I mean look, he [Donald Trump] has done virtually nothing.”

Nevertheless, the internet was still riding on the dreams of a golf match between the two veterans. So, when NuclrGolf posted a clip of Biden’s swing the $1M match once again came to the centerstage.

“Is the Trump Biden Match off now?” One user wondered. Another speculated, “Looks like the 18 hole match will not take place after all.” Some still want a face-off, and they don’t hide their desire. “I still want to see a Trump-Biden golf match,” one of them wrote.

Interestingly, after the June 27 debate, Bryson DeChambeau offered to host the match on his YouTube channel to settle the handicap debate. There is no scope for that happening now as well. But some already guessed the result from the clip.
